Today markets remained volatile and didn't perform well, all sectors closed negative. Capital goods, pharma, banking and auto were the worst performers in today's session. The Sensex closed at 18502, which was down 151 points from its previous close. The CNX Midcap index was down 1.4% and the BSE Smallcap index lost 0.4%. The European markets are trading positive.
