Do not mix apple with oranges.
Recession or no recession Insurance will and can be sold as an protection tool rather an investment tool over the years insurance is always made perceived as an invetment tool.
Dear friends Insurance is an risk management and protection tool it can be at the most looked as a measure for investment risk hedging tool rather an investment tool. |

any investment tool doesnt have any corelation with recession it only depends how you use that tool with your client. well insurance has been missold maximum number of times to the clients without disclosing the details to them especially ulips. So if you have the conviction and confidence anything can be sold in this market. |

Sell insurance only for the sake of insurance and nothing else and it should and will work. I have come across people who have just been told that the product is good and the product was sold. Pethatic and saddening is the only words that can describe this kind of actions. The one question I want to ask these people do you yourself buy that many insurance policies every year that you sell to the same client of yours otherwise? The answer will always be no because it is a know fact that bulk of the first 2-3 years premium is just paid without economic value. What about servicing the policies over the lifetime in uncertain times like this.
I am absolutely negative about people using this forum to recommend a perticular company or its product. I don't understand what great economic value has been added by UTI I am of the opinion this one single company has crushed N number of dreams. I in my knowledge dont see any product from this stable worth giving a second thought. Except yes if someone is more interested with the attractive brokerage attached with it. |

Recession is no matter for insurance selling, only when u sell it according to customer needs, selling ULIPS with pressure will cause a business killing, go through traditional policies, as even in the recession also capital guarantee and term insurance and endowment plans are the most prime and important needs of customers. Selling ULIPS is actually a miss-selling of insurance. Best Luck, Be confident and be winner. |

I prefer UTI ULIP as the premium allocation charges are negligible in comparison of insurance co's ULIPs ranging from 10-60%. UTI has just 2.25% and the return have been reasonable keeping in view the insurance factor.Further the cost of insurance is also less than many Term Insurances, prerevison. |
